This blog was created to share information about bringing our boys home from Haiti. Now that they are home and we've had a baby, we share the day to day craziness that we now call life.

Closer to smiling...
Smiley Noah
Getting pictures or updates on process is golden on the long path of adoption. It is sooooo good to see our boys' precious faces. Oh, Lord, bring them home soon.
Wow sister...you really are a dork. You flippin' sang happy birthday to your blog. Oh dear. LOL! I didn't know yours and sir blogs birthdays were so close. 31 tomorrow. Go you. I'm still in my twenties. I just thought I'd remind you. I guess I should be nice today...considering the circumstances. So here I go....31 isn't old. It's still a whole 9 years from 40. See, I'm nice. Love and miss you. Wish I could celebrate and eat cake with you tomorrow. Maybe I'll have my own lil celebration for you with myself. Christi
My grandbabies are sooooooooooooo cute! And you used to say I was a dork....at least I never sang happy b-day to a blog, lol!
Tomorrow is your big day..hope you make sure to celebrate it and enjoy it. Trust in God and place all your problems in His hands the entire day, and enjoy life! Love, Mom
Juli, your boys are too cute and your mom and sister are a hoot! I love the public use of "dork", hmmmm, sounds like my own house. Although it would have gotten worse than that! But I have to agree, maybe singing to your blog is a little over the top...Ha! Happy Birthday!
Mom to three fantastic little boys: Noah and Samuel, 6 year old twins, born in Haiti, who've been with our family since 9/08 and Tristan, our 4 year old handful! God's moved us all over the country and continues to move in our hearts.
Chuck and I have noticed that most people make the assumption that Tristan was a surprise. You know, the idea of, "adopt a child and you'll end up pregnant." While that may be true for some, that is not the case for us. Believe it or not, Tristan was planned. At the time of his conception we were unsure our adoption would ever complete and we decided to stop putting our family on hold. God saw fit to bless us with Tristan, Noah and Samuel all at the same time! While the transition into parenthood was not easy for us, we trust that God knew what He was doing!
