This blog was created to share information about bringing our boys home from Haiti. Now that they are home and we've had a baby, we share the day to day craziness that we now call life.
We are so thankful that Juli and baby are ok! I'm sorry it was rough, but so glad this part is behind you! He is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!! What an amazing miracle (with two more right behind)! We are praying for you all as you take each thing one day at a time right now! We love you guys and are here for whatever you need!
Cute little bugger! And I agree with the grandma who said he's not your typical baby. His looks definitely make me think of both of you although I'm not quite sure why. Again, much congratulations to you guys. Your blog has definitely been the most exciting one to read over the last few weeks. I keep having to check it because I'm afraid I'm going to miss something good. Kayla
He is SO SO SO precious!!! He is so much tinier than they predicted!!!! He wasn't big at all! Hope recovery is going OK. The first days are rough, don't worry, it gets better each day. Take the pain pills!!!!
Juli, I love him already - what a cutie! I'm glad it doesn't hurt when I cry, because you all have been making me do that alot lately with all the anticipation and subsequent good news.
Chuck - Dude, you are so rad - that's one phat baby!
AWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! I'm loving the little guy....I finally was able to get to a computer to look!!!!!!! I can't wait to come there and hold him. Such a cutie already. Unlike me, I was ugly...but you know that.
I'm sooo excited for you mugs.
Love to you all... The Proud Auntie Christi & Uncle Jeremy
Chuck and Juli, He is just a handsome little boy! How beautiful to see the three of you together and to know that Noah and Samuel are coming home soon. Please let us know if there is anything we can do....we would love to visit, but want you to recover. We also want to send some meals your way.
Mom to three fantastic little boys: Noah and Samuel, 6 year old twins, born in Haiti, who've been with our family since 9/08 and Tristan, our 4 year old handful! God's moved us all over the country and continues to move in our hearts.
Chuck and I have noticed that most people make the assumption that Tristan was a surprise. You know, the idea of, "adopt a child and you'll end up pregnant." While that may be true for some, that is not the case for us. Believe it or not, Tristan was planned. At the time of his conception we were unsure our adoption would ever complete and we decided to stop putting our family on hold. God saw fit to bless us with Tristan, Noah and Samuel all at the same time! While the transition into parenthood was not easy for us, we trust that God knew what He was doing!
